Haha I had a guy 450TV above me concede as at the end of the 1st half it was 1-1, but when the 2nd half started, and I stole all 3 of his rerolls, so he ragequit & conceded lol. Also in general, if a high TV team has spent their TV efficiently, they won't have many rerolls (generally about 3), and so a halfling chef can potentially really screw them over. So yeah, if you come up against a high TV team, don't be too discouraged, first check out what they've got. Same goes for teams with 4 or 5 guys sitting on the bench, they've then got 200+ TV just sitting on the bench not doing anything for most of the game. That'd be awesome for when they play an Elven team, but against Chaos/Orcs, it's going to be mostly wasted.Īlso of course, if someone has 10 cheerleaders & 10 assistant coaches, that's 200TV that's essentially wasted. Some teams might decide to get tackle on all of their guys, which on 11 players would be an extra 220 TV. It can be, but it depends on what they do with it. So, is TV an actual reflection of team strength? A dwarf death roller is the best big guy by far when he's on the field, but it'll also mean you want to carry a reserve, which when you add that in, significantly increases the cost of using him (Although if you'll always have a bribe, maybe you don't need to bother with a reserve). Considering it took them a full Edition upgrade just to let the human cheerleaders wear team colors. But make sure you're signing new players to your roster, too. You still need to set money aside for re-rolls, coaching assistants and cheerleaders. I think if they had an Elf and an Undead model it could cover most of the bases. You'll need to sign 11 players to your roster, to have a full squad, but observant Blood Bowl 2 players will notice the game allows you to sign as many as 16 players to your team. So if, for example, you had a big guy who rolled a +Agi upgrade, would it be worth giving it to them? And in general, are big guys going to be worth it for your team? i.e. I saw a video that all kinds of cheerleaders but I guess it was actually for Blood Bowl 1 LE not 2. You always want to keep levelling your guys, but keep in mind that any skills you need a special roll to get, increase your TV by more as well. Likewise, if you can be more efficient with your plays, then you won't need as many rerolls, and so your 3 should probably be sufficient. Generally speaking, most reserves don't get used that much, as they can only come on at the end of a drive anyway, which is also when KOs have the opportunity to revive themselves. 1 or 2 is probably a good idea, 10 would be a waste of TV). ![]() Having an extra reroll is only 50TV - 70TV though, while these are 10 each, and not guaranteed to happen, so it's a balancing act (e.g. Winning these gives you an extra reroll, and more importantly denies your opponent one. Likewise with the assistant coaches/cheer leaders, each gives you +1 to the roll of certain kickoff events (6 & 8 respectively on the table I think). Would an extra guy on the bench be better, or having +60,000 petty cash to spend on inducements? Or perhaps denying your opponent that 60,000 petty cash. Best way to think of it, is if for example, you want to get some extra reserves. Get the best deals for blood bowl snarling at.
